By VietnamExplore.com on 09/10/202409/10/2024

Dacsan.com’s apricot wine has an enchanting flavor and is completely safe for consumption. Serve as an aperitif or as a main drink at parties. It’s delicious either hot or cold.

The recipe for making apricot wine is to soak fresh apricots in rice wine for about 6 months to a year.

Fresh apricots used to make wine are grown in Vietnam’s Northwest mountains. The Northwest is a famous tourist destination with beautiful nature, sweet fruit trees, and lovely people. In particular, Northwest fresh apricots have many good uses, and they make a very famous apricot wine.

How to make Vietnamese apricot wine

Prepare

500g of fresh (green) apricots

250g of rock sugar (big ice cubes)

Rice wine (900 ml)

2L glass jar.

Step 1: You should choose the best apricots with smooth, unscratched skins. Wash the apricots, then use a toothpick to remove the stem.

Step 2

You clean the wine bottle, then dry it completely. Then, in the bottom of the jar, layer 1 layer of apricots. Carefully place each layer of apricots on the bottom; do not drop them to prevent the apricots from being crushed.

After lining up one layer, start adding another layer of sugar. Continue to layer 1 layer of apricots and then sprinkle 1 layer of sugar into the jar until the apricots are gone. Dividing the wine into layers like this will help the wine taste even, and the finished product will look good too.

Step 3

Next is a simple step. You put wine in the bottle that already has apricots. The amount of alcohol should be about 3 cm above the top layer of apricots.

Step 4

Store the jar of apricot wine in a cool place. Newly soaked apricot wine can’t be drunk immediately; you will have to wait patiently for at least 5–6 months to enjoy it.

Making apricot wine this way results in a sweet, aromatic, and very easy drink.
